At Footbellas, we believe every girl should have the opportunity to enjoy football in a positive, inclusive and supportive environment.

For many girls, their first experience of football comes through spaces that feel welcoming, fun and free from pressure. That’s where confidence begins and a genuine love for the game can grow.

But as girls get older, that experience often changes.

Too often, girls begin to drift away from sport. Confidence drops, social pressures increase, and many start to feel that football - and sport more broadly - isn’t for them.

We’re here to support girls at every stage of that journey - from first experiences in football, to building confidence, to helping them stay connected to sport as they grow.

A Different Approach to Football

We shine a different light on football.

Our sessions are built around enjoyment, confidence and connection, rather than pressure, comparison or performance. We create an environment where girls feel comfortable to take part, try new things and develop at their own pace.

Football becomes something they can enjoy in their own way.

Confidence Comes First

We believe confidence is the foundation for everything.

When girls feel supported and understood, they’re more willing to take part, speak up, try and keep going. That’s where real progress happens — not just in football, but beyond it.

Our role is to create the kind of environment where that confidence can grow.

Inclusive by Design

Everything we do is designed to be inclusive.

We work with girls of all abilities, including those who may feel less confident or who haven’t always had a positive experience of sport. Every session is structured to ensure all girls feel seen, valued and able to contribute.

There’s no one way to take part.

Led by Female Coaches

All Footbellas sessions are delivered by our all-female coaching team.

We bring first-hand experience of the challenges girls can face in sport, helping us create an environment where girls feel understood, supported and comfortable to be themselves.

More Than Just Football

Footbellas is about more than football.

It’s about creating spaces where girls can build confidence, develop friendships and feel positive about being active — whether that’s through after-school clubs, holiday camps or school-based sessions.

Football is simply the tool we use to make that happen.
